The poor dog was suffering from anemia and Lyme disease, conditions that had undoubtedly been affecting him for some time.

As the vets continued their examination, they discovered more troubling signs of his rough life on the streets. A small portion of his tongue was missing, likely bitten off in an altercation or accident, and he had a large, infected wound on his neck. Despite these injuries, the vets estimated that he was still quite young, around two years old. It was clear that he had been through a lot in his short life.
